It’s one of the busiest weekend ever, if you have seen our Twitter account on Friday (13th march) we were tweeting live from the Nasscom Product Conclave in Pune. Its one of the best startups and technology based event organized by Nasscom. We saw lots of exciting startups emerging from this home ground and we covered every one of them. Since there were plenty of startups in the event, we decided to write in detail about the startups in our this article. So, let’s see what happened at Nasscom Product Conclave, the Pune edition.
Here is the quick Schedule of the event –
Nasscom Product conclave started from 9.00AM, where I landed at the ‘Westin Hotel’ at 9.40AM and the first thing I saw were number of startups waiting for us (I mean for Judges off-course!). Then I took out my camera and stuff to start cover each of them. Here are the list of startups we saw at Nasscom’ event –
- Breezom (Not launched yet)
- Inteliment (in-developement)
- MaxSimos (having 4-products)
- AutoDCR (Product by Softtech)
That’s a huge list. We’ll explain each of them in our this article. So, it almost took us 3hrs (12.30) to talk with each startup and let me tell you, they were very enthusiastic and supportive. That’s why we love startups and Entrepreneurs.
Anyway, meanwhile we missed opening session of Hanuman Tripathy (Director of Infrasoft Tech limited) and ‘Selling to the Giants’ session by Farooq Adam (SHopsense), Aditya Bandi and Niketh Sabbineni (Bookpad). Man! we gonna miss this.
Moving forward, there were the number of workshops hosted like –
- ‘Experience by Design’ by Rahul Kulkarni and Kunal Maithani
- Big Data workshop by Sanjay Mehta
- Growth Hacking by Bharat Thakur
in which we attended ‘Big Data’ workshop by Sanjay Mehta. It was very intriguing and informative. In workshop topics like ‘What is BigData’, ‘what is the use of it’, ‘How to use it’, ‘what are latest improvement in it’ and ‘How we can use it for many purposes’. We also get know about most ambitious project ‘Lavasa’ and how they using BigData to modernize the project. Meanwhile we also attended ‘Growth Hacking’ workshop by Bharat Thakur, take a look at some pictures below-
We must say, Bharat Thakur has a very fine theory, knowledge and concepts to hack the growth.
Then at 2.00PM we attended our one-of-the best and hottest topic of the year, Internet of Things (IOT) by Amit Chitale from KPIT Tech. As always Amit Chitale ruled the show, but the biggest surprise was introduction of group ‘Revealing Hour Creation’ the same group which organized ‘Demos and Showcase’ and showed the same awesome products which were introduced at that event. Wonder kid ‘Ishan’ expressed his story on how he started in such a small age. Here is the list of product shown –
- Paper Piano,
- Laser Harp,
- Tweet Bubble (I just named it) — the device will blow bubbles when anyone twit using the #puneIOIT.
- 3D Printer
There were lot of introductions in the show, that’s why I couldn’t keep the names of all of them. But here is the pic standing at the end of the session. This workshop was very entertaining especially when Amit Chitale came with a T-shirt with a small rounded led lights located center of the T-shirt (the idea was- the LED were blinking according to the rate of heart beats).
At 4.10, the session ended followed by few minutes of Networking Time and then a few minutes session (4.40PM) by Accenture Soft’s Duriya Kanchwala (Swimming by Sharks). Finally, the time came to declare Top 5 Startups of the Day. And the winners were –
- JustAarogyam — Cloud-based Electronic Health Records For Patients, Doctors and Other HealthCare service Providers.
- CAdashboard — First of its kind Platform for CA and SME clients
- AutoDCR (Product by Softtech) — A solution for Automation of Building Approval processes.
- AppVigil — Cloud-based Android App security Scanner
Congrats to all from Tengible Team. After which there was a Fire chat session with Sanjay Mehta (Investor) and Sharda Balaji (Investor) led by Vishwas Mahajan.
During the session, Vishwas Mahajan put some very important questions based on Early Entrepreneurs, Funding and Legalities issues. And the session was damn good.
Here are some pics of the session-
At 6.00, session ended and so as the event. We were too exhausted and decided to leave the hotel with a promise to visit again.
